About Us
Swanson Electric opened for business in 1985 in Ipswich, SD. 2 years after opening, the business moved to nearby Aberdeen, SD. What started as a one man operation quickly grew to include more electricians. In 1999 a second location was added in Redfield, SD with 2 more full time employees.
Today, Swanson Electric is an electrical contractor licensed in South and North Dakota with 10+ full time electricians and an office manager. Since its inception, Swanson Electric has completed 1,000’s of projects for residential and industrial customers across the region. We are licensed to work in all of South Dakota and North Dakota.
