About Us

The Alexander Mitchell Public Library offers materials and services for all ages. Materials available include fiction and nonfiction books, books on cassette and CD, newspapers, magazines, and videos and DVD's. Items may also be borrowed from other libraries. Reference services are available in person, by phone, or email. Computers are available for Internet access, word-processing and other applications. The library's web site offers access to online library catalogs and reference databases. Meeting rooms may be reserved fro small and large groups. Other services inclulde microfilm and microfiche reader/printers and photocopiers. Regularly scheduled programs include story times for toddlers and preschoolers, book clubs, reading series, and activities for teens.
