We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Route Driver to join our team in the Aberdeen, SD area. This day-shift position involves delivering products along established routes, servicing scheduled stops, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining a professional appearance.
Responsibilities
- Drive established delivery routes and service scheduled customer stops.
- Deliver products to both route customers and call-in accounts.
- Maintain accurate daily records using route books and tablets.
- Complete and submit sales tickets and related paperwork daily.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Assist with warehouse operations as needed.
- Keep company vehicles and warehouse areas clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Provide outstanding customer service and build positive customer relationships.
- Follow all company safety procedures and driving regulations.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Clean driving record required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a continual basis.
- At least 1 year of driving experience preferred (training available).
- At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred (training available).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Day Shift
- Monday through Thursday
- Some Fridays required
- Occasional overtime available
