As a nurse with Kore Cares, you will assist the client with nursing tasks, as outlined in the care plan, to allow the client to remain in their home.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of nursing experience, preferred
- Must have active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of SD
- Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position
- Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English
- Must have reliable transportation and current valid driver’s license
- Proof of automobile insurance and eligibility for employment in the United States
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Nursing tasks may include but are not limited to: wound dressing, medication set up, monitor medication compliance, assess vital signs, assess skin condition, assess nutritional status, assess mobility, assess usage of glucometer, toe/nail care, catheter care, assess health, provide teaching/health education, communicate with physician and pharmacist, blood draws
- Assesses the full scope of patient needs using the nursing process on a continuous basis
- Observes signs and symptoms and reports changes in the patient’s condition to the physician and/or other appropriate health care professionals
- Provides teaching to client and client family members
- Uses knowledge and judgement needed to meet nursing needs of the patient

- Provide care to client in accordance with care plan
- Provide care for client that maintains client dignity and meets physical, emotional and spiritual needs
- Immediately report any changes in client condition, accidents or incidents to the Agency office.
- Thoroughly document care provided in ClearCare
- Comply with agency handbook, policies and procedures
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $38.00 per hour
