The Hub City Hound Contest will officially launch September 10, 2020 and will end on October 10, 2020. Winners will be announced the week of October 12, 2020.

We believe the best dogs live right here in Aberdeen and northeastern South Dakota. But we're searching for the coolest of the coolest dogs, the best of the mutts, the dog most deserving of being named the Hub City Hound.

And your dog might just be the one!

Why?

If your dog is voted the Hub City Hound, your dog will be featured on the label of a special edition "Puptoberfest" from Dakota Territory Brewing! Not only that… there is a whole slew of prizes you will win! How cool is that?

You will also have the unique opportunity to work with the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce to feature your dog as the Chamber mascot. It doesn't get much better than that!

So Why Are We Really Doing This?

Ok, folks, here's the bigger reason for running the Hub City Hound photo contest. We're raising money to help our friends at the Aberdeen Area Humane Society with their new building campaign.

That's the goal of the 2020 Leadership Aberdeen Class, which is working closely with the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce and several business sponsors.

That support has been fantastic but now it's time to get the community behind the project as well – that's where you and your best furry friend come into play. We need your help too!

The money raised in this contest will benefit the building campaign.
