"Night in a Car for Journey Home" will take place from 7 p.m. Friday\, April 26\, until 7 a.m. Saturday\, April 27\, in the Aberdeen Police Department parking lot\, 114 Second Ave. S.E.\, Aberdeen\, SD.\n\nThe event is a homelessness simulation that shines a spotlight on the hidden aspect of homelessness that many in our community experience living in their cars. Participants are challenged to raise $200 per vehicle and "live" out of their cars overnight. The class will also be working with local businesses for corporate sponsorships of the event.
