Description
Leadership Aberdeen is a great opportunity for individuals to develop leadership skills in a fun, friendly, and fast-paced environment. The program provides participants with a good balance of personal leadership training and community education. We achieve that by exposing them to speakers and organizations that can challenge what they know about leadership and encourage them to make a difference within their company, community and state. Leadership Aberdeen provides participants with the opportunity to sharpen their skills, share their experiences, and make life-long connections with fellow participants.
Participants also tour a number of local businesses and have the opportunity to learn from their CEO's and staff on company philosophies, goals, and success stories. Plus the class gives back to the community by facilitating a local project or event that will have a positive impact on the Aberdeen community.
A big part of the program's success is due to the partnerships we have with local businesses who help offset program costs. Special thanks to the 2019 Business Partners which include: 3M Company of Aberdeen, Avera St. Luke's, Dacotah Bank, Glacial Lakes Energy, Northern State University, Sanford Health, Agtegra, and Molded Fiber Glass.
